Clearing the Casino Offices
Start by going into the Sierra Madre casino. It’s the only door you can really go into at the moment. The terminal on the right can set the security hologram to patrol the casino floor. Give it a moment to walk away, then slip behind it and go upstairs to the bar. Note that the code for wine is on the shelf behind the bar. You can get codes for Scotch and Vodka on the desk too.
There’s a speaker behind the bar, next to the first aid kit. Destroy it, grab the security codes off of the bar and go past it into the next area. Quickly walk past the security guard in the hallway. If you do it quickly, he won’t go hostile. Walk up the steps to the security office and hack the wall terminal. Tell the hologram to guard the bar door. By the time you walk back, he’ll be facing the wrong way. Walk past him and through the door to the next security room.
Use the terminal for more backstory, and loot the area. There’s an automatic rifle and bullets on the shelf, along with more chips in the cabinet. Right past this door, there should be a hologram emitter up in the corner. Shoot it or disable it to kill the security hologram.
Loot the rest of the offices and use the terminal on the security chief assistant’s desk to unlock the electrical closet. Walk back out to the bar, and look over into the casino floor.

Taking Out Sierra Madre Security
Once that’s done, just jump down and walk over to the guard on duty. I suggest you just run past him and turn around. His emitter is right behind him in the corner, so you should be able to shoot it before he does much damage. Walk into the electrical close and pull the switch to turn the casino on. The casino will now be powered up. You can play slots, roulette and blackjack in the different rooms, and also trade pre-war money for chips, and vice versa. If you have the luck to break the bank, you can sell your random gear to the bartender for pre-war money, and then use that to get chips from the cashier. It’s incredibly nice to be able to buy the ammo and stimpaks (and doctor’s bags) that you need.
When you’re done, walk out and go back to the lobby to get your update. You’ll pick up your other two missions. We’ve got to handle the rest of the team now. Let’s start with Dog.

Turning Off The Gas
The shielded speaker blocking the restaurant is now dead, so run through and into the restaurant. The only place you can go is behind the receptionist’s desk. Grab the emergency maintenance key off of the counter. You can hear Dog and God arguing, so you know we’re close. There’s a speaker blocking off the rest of the area, so just backtrack to the casino with your key.
Go up and into the offices and look for the sealed emergency door. Use your key to get inside. Note that if you have an older computer, you’ll probably want to nerf your settings, or just put up with a heavy slowdown due to the gas valves.
You need to shut off all three gas valves before you can kill Dog, otherwise, his collar’s explosion will kill you both and destroy the casino. The first is right in front of you, past the workbench. The next one is to the left and inside the kitchen/freezer. You will have to cross Dog’s patrol, so watch out for him and use the counters and freezers for cover. Save too. He’ll confront you as soon as he sees you, or he may just attack.
The other one is on the far side of the kitchen. Go back and use the hallway to get closer, then slip past and shut it off. The area is safe now, and you can just kill Dog normally in combat. He’s a super mutant, so be ready to really lay on the firepower.

Saving or Killing God and Dog
Note that if you want to save Dog, and you can save him (you need at least 50 in Speech to even get him to talk down), you don’t have to shut the valves off. You can just talk him down. You just have to sneak up on him and start the conversation. If you wait by the workbench and open the door, watch for Dog and talk to him as he walks in front of it.
If you have 50 points in Speech, you can get Dog to calm down. You can then tell him to kill himself with his chain. You’ll have to escape the floor before you die too. You should be able to pick either Dog or God, and “kill" the other with the 75 point Speech check. If you have 85 points in Speech, you can heal his split personality. Note, that as Dog/God warn, they won’t be able to help you if you free them. They won’t even completely remember you, and the new Dog won’t be able to put up with the pain for awhile. It will net you good karma and ultimately save Dog and God though.
It’s up to you and your abilities. Regardless of your choices, I suggest that you gather some food and alcohol, if you want it. Also note that they’re practically begging anyone with Survival above 30 to make a Caravan Lunchbox. You can get all the ingredients from the food spread around the kitchen, and one lunchbox from the maintenance closest. There’s a second set above the ovens, with a lunchbox and all the ingredients right next to one another.
Also loot the office. You can download a hologram component off of the computer while you’re here, and get some more chips.
Once the threat is handled, walk back to the Lobby and start your second quest.
